gonna update on wat to do for first aid case
^^

normally is 1 grp 4 ppl for FAC
first man will be the leader
third man timer
last man will be the one checking whether the place is safe n call the ambulance

how to report to ma'am or sir??
~ first man shall shout the command

~ stop infront of the officer
~ diam the squad
~ first man fall out n march to the officer
~ [in full uni] salute to the officer when greeting n thank you
~ report as according
" Afternoon sir/ma'am. Yr2 first man reporting for first aid case. Permisson to carry on sir/ma'am/. Thank you sir/ma'am"

~ last man walk a few steps and step on the ground
~ ask the officer whether the area is safe
~ ONLY when the area is safe then the other ppl cn go into the scence

~ go to the ma'am or sir n tell him/her that u r goin to call the ambulance
~ pretend to dial 995 n answer
~ say your name n u r a first aider
~ wat had happen
~ the place of accident

~ tell them to bring along ambulances n AED if there is unconscious casualty
~ ONLY put down the phone when the paramadic put down

CASE >> car accident at cchy , 3 casualties, one unconscious


" Hello hello, is this the 995 ambulance? I am chengyung n i am a first aider.There is a car accident at cchy. There are 3 casualties. One of them are unconscious. Suspected injuries are fractures, shocks, laceration and incised wound. Please bring along 3 ambulances and AED ASAP!!!"

how to do body check???
~ got primary survey n secondary survey
1. PRIMARY SURVEY
! Danger
~ check if the place is safe
~ REMOVE spec off on the casualty
! Management
~ manage the ppl well
! Airway
~ open the airway
! Breathing
~ check if the person is breathing
! Circulation
~ pulse [ temporal, carotid, radial, femoral n brachial]


2. SECONDARY SURVEY {full body check}
ask the sir or ma'am whether there is obvious injuries

!! TOUCH THE SKULL
~ raise the head a little
~ touch the whole head using both hand
~ ask sir/ma'am: "is there any deformity in the skull?"

!! CHECK THE EAR
~ tilt the head to the side
~ pull the ear and LOOK inside
~ ask sir/ma'am: " is there any thin, watery blood flowing out?"


!! CHECK THE EYES
~ using pentorch [ONLY] to sweep the light across the casualty's eyes to check for dilation
~ ask sir/ma'am: "is the eye responding to the light/ dilate?"

!! CHECK THE NOSE
~ look at the nose to see whether there is thin, watery blood flowing out
~ ask sir/ma'am: " is there any thing, watery blood flowing out?"

!! CHECK THE MOUTH
~ check whether there is foam (poisoning)
~ ask the sir/ma'am

!! CHECK THE JAW
~ touch the jaw
~ ask sir/ma'am: " is there any injury to the jaw?"


!! CHECK THE NECK
~ using two hands, gently move ur fingers up and down the neck and lightly press it
~ ask sir/ma'am: " is there any injury to the neck?"

!! CHECK THE COLLAR BONE/ SHOULDER
~ gently and lightly squeeze the shoulder, one hand one side
~ ask sir/ ma'am: " is there any injury at the shoulder/collar bone?"

!! CHECK THE HANDS
~ first one hand each to check
~ then two hand on each hand
~ CHECK SEPARATELY EG. "sir is there any injury at the lower part of the right hand?"

~ask sir/ma'am: " is there any injury to the left/right hand?"

!! CHECK THE RIBCAGE
~ cover the ribcage with both ur hands and gently press it while moving down

~ feel till the stomach area
~ ask sir/ma'am

NOTE: guys MUST assume if doing on a female casualty

!! CHECK THE ABDOMEN
~ place both hand on the abdomen
~ ask if there is any swelling or that area

!! CHECK THE SPINE
~ put both hand under the hollow part of the body
~ press to check
~ ask if there is any swelling or deformity

!! CHECK THE PELVIS BONE
~ lightly press the pelvis bone

~ cn assume if necessary
~ ask if there is any injury

!! CHECK THE LEG
~ use two hand to touch from the thigh to the sole n toes
~ remove shoe when checking the foot
~ CHECK SEPARATELY EG. "sir is there any injury at the lower part of the right leg?"
~ one by one check
~ ask any injury
~ at the joint part {knee}, touch longer

THINGS TO TAKE NOTE
1. look URGENT
2. ask with URGENCY
3. for checking of skull, ribcage, leg, pelvis n spine, using two hand, placing thumb close to thumb to check
4. DO NOT sit while check or treating
5. went asking sir/ma'am questions, hands CANNOT let go from casualty

6. everyone MUST hav to do something
